Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information APK Mods stores, why we store it and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible: you can browse and download without an account.
What we store

If you only browse and download, we do not need your name or email. Download counts are kept as totals per file and are not linked to a visitor account.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, only for logging in:
am_sid— your session cookie. It keeps you logged in. It is marked HttpOnly, which means scripts on the page cannot read it.am_auth— a small hint that tells the page you are logged in and what kind of account you have (for example developer), so the header can show the right buttons. It does not contain your password or email.
Both cookies are set only when you log in and are removed when you log out or they expire. We do not use advertising cookies.
Hosting and service providers
The site, its files and its database run on Cloudflare, which acts as our host and content delivery network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages, protect the site from attacks and keep it running. You can read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Download pages include a link to VirusTotal so you can look up a file hash. If you open that link, you are visiting VirusTotal’s site and their own policy applies.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only when needed to run the site (for example with our host), when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.
Information that is public
If you are a developer, your developer name, profile description, website, published apps and file details are public. Your email address is not shown on your public profile. When a rights holder sends a removal request about a file you uploaded, we may share the details of that request with you, and the details of your counter-notice with them.
How long we keep data
- Account and profile data: while your account is open.
- Uploaded files: until you remove them, or we remove them after review or a valid request.
- Reports and removal requests: as long as needed to show what action we took.
- Hosting logs: as set by our host for security and operation.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Edit your developer profile and remove your uploads from the console at any time.
- Ask for a copy of the personal information linked to your account.
- Ask us to correct wrong information.
- Ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it.
We handle these requests in line with applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies. Write to support@apkmods.uk from the email address on your account.
Security
Passwords are stored as hashes, sessions use HttpOnly cookies and all pages are served over HTTPS. No system is perfect, so please use a unique password for your account and log out on shared devices.
Children
Accounts are meant for adults and for developers. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
