Report a file
If your message is about a specific download, the report form is the fastest option. It links your report to the exact page, so we do not need to search for it. Choose a reason — for example malware, wrong MOD or Original label, broken file or copyright — and add a short note about what you saw.
What to include in your message
- The link to the app or download page (it ends with a slash, for example an address under
/apk/). - The version number shown on the page.
- Your phone model and Android version, if the problem is about installing.
- The exact error message, or a short description of what happened.
- For developer questions, the email address of your account and the app’s package name.
For install problems, our APK install guide and the FAQ answer the most common questions straight away.
Quick answers before you write
- “App not installed” or “problem parsing the package”? Usually a signature conflict, low storage or a file made for a newer Android version. The install guide has a fixes table.
- Is a file safe? Compare the file SHA-256 and signing certificate on the download page and check the VirusTotal link. We cannot promise any file is completely safe.
- Need an older version? Look at the version history on the app page before asking — older files are listed there when the uploader has kept them.
- Want a new app added? If you are its developer, you can publish it yourself through a free account.
Developers
If you publish apps through the developer program, you can manage most things yourself in the developer console: edit listings, unpublish versions or remove an app. Write to us if a file is stuck in review for a long time or if you think it was rejected by mistake.
